..you received interest from me regarding the role, apart from contacting me and discussing the role, you emailed me a copy of the job spec and asked me to edit it, inserting relevant experience, helping you relate that experience back to your client.

You client obviously spent time creating the job spec, so relating my experience in this way is more pertinent to their needs and sells me in an appropriate way.

All this was done electronically and quickly.
